Firstly, check out ‘The Afterman: Ascension’ album details on our previous article…

Coheed and Cambria is now releasing their first single ‘Domino the Destitute’ off the upcoming double albums The Afterman. The song that officially titled ‘Key Entity Extraction I: Domino the Destitute’ was the longest track on the first part ‘The Afterman: Ascension’, making almost eight minutes in length. For sure, the radio format shortened about a half on it.

The song also opened up the story part of The Afterman, as Claudio reveal it to Rolling Stone:

‘Domino’ is a scene in the story where the Afterman explores the energy source, the Keywork. In the Keywork, he finds out it’s not comprised of these kinds of elements – it’s actually almost an afterlife. And your energy in life echoes in death. So, if you’re a horrible human being in life, your energy as part of the Keywork is horrible.

Meanwhile the story from the single cited from official:

When Sirius enters the Keywork, he realizes this energy force is wholly made up of human souls. This is their first contact with a human since they were living – The first soul to take over Sirius, to possess him, is Domino the Destitute. Sirius must now experience Domino’s life as he lived it. Keywork Entity Extraction I.

‘Domino the Destitute’ was released in radios last week, and release today in digital stores. A trailer for the music video also being released last week, and the full video was released today on VEVO, which can be seen below.
