Mumford & Sons’ Babel Named ‘Album of the Year’ at Grammys 2013

Congrats to Mumford & Sons who took home the biggest award tonight! Their latest release ‘Babel’ has received a grammy for ‘Album of the Year’.

The year’s ceremony was fairly represent all music from all major genres, classics to modern, that’s why this was the biggest night for musicians and participants, becoming most-awaited moment of the year! Well, if the last year was gives much grammys for the Foo Fighters, today becomes more alternative rather than mainstream rock. In other words, the year is for the modern rock!

Performers are fun, Black Keys, Mumford & Sons, Sting, Lumineers, Jack White. The night closed with performance by Travis Barker and Tom Morello (among others).

When we called ‘Babel’ the ‘Best Album of 2012’, this also has the second-highest debut sales in 2012 in US (600k copies sold), and now (5 months since the release) almost reached 2 million copies sold in US alone.
