AFI New Album ‘Burials’

After numerous pictures posted online, AFI has finally announced their ninth album, the first in last four years, also the first for Republic Records, entitled ‘Burials’. The album is set to be released on October 22.

Havok speaks out to RollingStone about the album title, the feeling, and much more inside making the album..

“I really feel [the title] speaks of the overall sentiment of the record. The album really speaks of a burial of a silence and the burials that result from those silences of panic and anxiety and betrayal and cruelty – and a loss of self, a loss of stability.” – Davey Havok

‘Burials’ lead single I Hope You Suffer, available now! Download on iTunes.

Stay tuned for future updates.
