Watch Foo Fighters’ Sonic Highways Trailer

That’s a brief introduction to a new Foo Fighters album. In anticipation of the album’s impact, Foo Fighters today release the official trailer of the upcoming HBO series ‘Sonic Highways’. In the three-and-a-half-minutes clip previews their journey to eight cities in the U.S. in order to record their eighth album. The clip features interviews with music legends and the current president, while also previews some of the songs off the album.

The new album itself, also with the same name ‘Sonic Highways’, was once again produced by Butch Vig and will be released on November 10, 2014 by Roswell/RCA, while the documentary will debuts in U.S. on October 17 at 11/10c (other countries to follow). The first single will also premiers the same day with the tv series’ debut.

‘Sonic Highways’ cover art depicts eight cities in which the record session took place. The alternate version divides this picture into nine piece, which shows every single city, and the center is the number ‘8’ which indicates the record’s identity.
