Foo Fighters Returns to Rock Charts with ‘Something from Nothing’

Foo Fighters has released the first single off ‘Sonic Highways’, and it’s already a hit. ‘Something from Nothing’ was released in the mid-week on last week, and will debuts high at various rock charts this week, as Billboard reports. It will lands at No. 5 on Radio Airplay, No. 12 on Alternative Songs and No. 16 on Mainstream Rock Songs.

‘Something from Nothing’ was recorded at Electrical Studio in Chicago, and features guest musician Rick Nielsen, guitarist of Cheap Trick. The song premieres on 16 October, followed by the HBO premiere of the docuseries the next day. The song was then recognized as the background sound on the HBO trailer released in August, which featuring the legendary ‘Holy Diver’ riff.
