Most Anticipated Studio Albums Coming In 2023

Another exciting year for music lovers ahead as more and more artists (some of them hasn’t released new music for so long) are becoming more active in writing materials and recording since the start of pandemic. Next year seemingly becoming a busy year for touring acts as gathering restriction are gradually lifted, although the cost of doing one is another concern. For some artist, touring opportunity is also the perfect time to promote new album. We look forward to some of our favorites who will release a new record next year, as follows:

15. Måneskin – Rush!. Epic/Sony. New album scheduled to be released: January 20th, 2023.

The band that are increasingly popular these days have previewed their new album with single ‘Loneliest’, and another one featuring Tom Morello that is coming very early next year.

14. Godsmack – Lighting Up the Sky. BMG. New album scheduled to be released: February 24th, 2023.

The rumored last studio album was led by single ‘Surrender’. We hope this one rocks hard for one last time.

13. System of a Down. Columbia. New album projected to be released: Q4 of 2023.

After one-off reunion in 2020 by releasing two songs for a good cause, the hype for a new album become more intense. However, after learning the facts, each of them only growing interest in various side projects recently. We’ll see if they will finally record a full new album together.

12. Guns N’ Roses. Geffen/UMG. New album projected to be released: Q3 of 2023.

If this one sounds like their recent single ‘Hard Skool’, then we’re up to it. Plus, the upcoming album should finally have full of Slash.

11. blink-182. Columbia. New album projected to be released: Q2 of 2023.

Welcome back, Tom. We do really happy that the fire, the spirit of blink is back!

10. Dave Matthews Band. RCA. New album projected to be released: Q3 of 2023.

Based on recent updates, a new record will definitely be released next year.

9. U2. Interscope/Island. New album projected to be released: Q2 of 2023.

The latest single released this year indicates the band are ready to drop full-length album, that will be their first in more than a decade.

7. The Killers. Island. New album projected to be released: Q2 of 2023.

The band seems on fire lately by releasing albums in 2020 and 2021. Next year’s album previewed by the single ‘boy’ that already received warm reviews by fans.

6. Deftones. Reprise. New album projected to be released: Q4 of 2023.

Surprise coming at a very recent interview, where Chino Moreno said they’re just chipping away on some new music.

5. Metallica – 72 Seasons. Blackened. New album scheduled to be released: April 14th, 2023.

The metal giant are preparing a new album and then followed by ‘massive’ tour. Speaking of the new album, the lead single proves the quartet still have ‘power’ to perform.

4. Paramore – This Is Why. Atlantic. New album scheduled to be released: February 10th, 2023.

The album previewed by the highly praised, funky bass colored ‘This Is Why’, and the most recent ‘The News’.

3. Avenged Sevenfold. Capitol. New album projected to be released: Q2 of 2023.

The band keeps getting better with each record, and the upcoming album has no exception.

2. Radiohead. XL. New album projected to be released: Q4 of 2023.

Although there’s no indication so far about new album coming, there’s no time ever than now that we need their new album the most to heal us from pandemic and these various crisis that follows. Thankfully, their recent side project The Smile could compensate us while we awaits new album.

1. Queens of the Stone Age. Matador. New album projected to be released: Q1 of 2023.

The top spot this time goes to this rockers who undoubtedly will deliver another excellent guitar-driven album. Their last two albums were top notch, and the one coming fast next year really captured our attention this high.
