Personal Chart: Top 20 Albums of 2021

Another year with great list of musicians putting out music to their best. I’m almost certain that there’s still many good albums out there that I missed, but for the time being, I only need to compile my own list of favorite studio albums this year that grabbed my attention the most.

Album of the Year 2015

As the year gets closer to the end, it’s time for us again to pick 10 album and put it to our list of favorite albums. Here are our Top 10 Album this year. Play it again now, louder !!

10. Cauterize” by Tremonti

Released:  5 June 2015

The Alter Bridge/ Creed guitarist proves one more time his skills, this time with his own band, he also singing for the album.

9. Bad Magic” by Motörhead

Released:  28 August 2015

The final album from the iconic band, not showing the band even slowing down as they enter the 40th anniversary.

R.I.P. Lemmy.

8. Kill the Flaw” by Sevendust

Released:  2 October 2015

The metal band got some recognition as for their new album, with the opening track ‘Thank You’ being nominated for a Grammy.

7. How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful” by Florence + The Machine

Released:  1 June 2015

That women that rocking with her own way, awaited by the fans for the return and the result is something really good to listen.

6. The Pale Emperor” by Marilyn Manson

Released:  15 January 2015

The glam rocker has returned with another dark imagery with this new album.

5. Sol Invictus” by Faith No More

Released:  19 May 2015

The comeback albums were usually rejected. This is an exception. 18 years in waiting, they are back with great record!

4. That’s the Spirit” by Bring Me the Horizon

Released:  4 September 2015

The young rockers are keep getting better, now with a bit different but still sounding hard and loud. Listen to its best like ‘True Friends’ and ‘Happy Song’.

3. VII: Sturm und Drang” by Lamb of God

Released:  24 July 2015

Entering the top 3, is the heavy mettalers Lamb of God, with their new sound, new album. Listen to its best like ‘Still Echoes’.

2. Meliora” by Ghost

Released:  21 August 2015

Taking a theme of ‘the abscence of God’, the Swedish metallers bringing a fresh sound to the rock world, some would say it’s one of the best that came in the last decade. Listen to heavy tracks like ‘Cirice’, ‘Majesty’, and the softer sound in ‘He Is’.

1. The Book of Souls” by Iron Maiden

Released:  4 September 2015

One of the best album they ever recorded, making the double-album get the throne this year.

Top 10 Albums of 2014

A year is going to an end, so it’s time to pick our top 10 favorite album released this year. Let us know if we miss something… for considerance.

10. 1000hp” by Godsmack

Released: Aug 5, 2014

The band keep it up with this album, noting the title-track along with Generation Day and Lock & Loaded to be some important hard rock songs from them.

9. Songs of Innocence” by U2

Released: Sep 9, 2014

Not to judge by its release controversy, but the record still deserves some love. Hear The Miracle (of Joey Ramone), Every Breaking Wave, and Cedarwood Road on repeat.

8. High Hopes” by Bruce Springsteen

Released: Jan 14, 2014

There’s always interesting to hear some previously unheard materials from some of the best recording sessions in the past.

7. Turn Blue” by The Black Keys

Released: May 13, 2014

The rock n’ roll youngster has delivered some fresh materials, which even sounded different at first, but actually is a good record, hear the songs Fever and Turn Blue.

6. Lazaretto” by Jack White

Released: Jun 10, 2014

Another great records by ex-White Strip founder, proving that his solo effort could attract some new followers. Better to put a listen on its vinyl record.

5. The Endless River” by Pink Floyd

Released: Nov 10, 2014

The absence of Mr. Waters on the ‘River’ records, leaving some unexplored area that may bring the band to another glorious era. But at least, this new album have some good vibration that can be found in The Division Bell, back twenty-years ago.

4. Once More ‘Round the Sun” by Mastodon

Released: Jun 24, 2014

The latest album brings them one step ahead, by serving another great ideas after another, that injects right formula and riffs to the songs on it.

3. .5: The Gray Chapter” by Slipknot

Released: Oct 21, 2014

Maybe it’s not their best yet, but that is something we need to hear from them, as the culmination point to what it sounds like if the previous albums mixed into a new one, adding some sharp emotional touch on it.

2. Everything Will Be Alright in the End” by Weezer

Released: Oct 7, 2014

Fans are tired enough by some unwanted experiment done in recent years, until this album is come.. It’s clearly brings us back to an era we enjoy their music so much. As the anthem start to kick: “Take me back to the shack, back to the strat with the lightning strap.”

1. Sonic Highways” by Foo Fighters

Released: Nov 10, 2014

So the foos are taking our attention more than ever. The record has a story that letting us know if this one has a very creative proccess behind it, resulting a great eight-songs with some unforgettable part on it.
